Every completed project represents a contract with mediplan Helm e.K.: personally liable, unlimited, with the full commitment of the owner.
Logic Energy is the Group’s operational brand for PV project development and construction—responsible for planning, construction, and technical implementation. mediplan Helm e.K. handles the commercial aspects of project management, investor agreements, and site acquisition. Together, the two companies form a single entity that provides end-to-end services covering the entire lifecycle of a PV system.

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESSES AND INVESTORS
Solar Power Without Upfront Costs
You provide us with your roof, we install the solar system—and you get affordable electricity. We invest in, build, and operate the PV system on your roof. You purchase the solar power generated at a fixed, affordable price (typically 20–30% below the grid electricity price, based on Logic Energy project data for 2025). No investment, no hassle, immediate cost savings.
Suitable for: Industrial buildings, commercial buildings, logistics centers: PV-optimized carports and warehouses are possible. Also suitable for structurally weak roofs (using our patented roof truss system).
Investment Model for Investors
Invest as little as €100,000 in fully planned solar power systems and receive revenue from electricity sales for 20–40 years. We secure the land, plan, and obtain permits for the projects—you invest in systems that are ready for construction.
Fully planned projects – no development risk for you. Personal liability (eK) through our partner mediplan Helm eK – no anonymous investment. Fixed financing – secured before the project begins. Portfolio: ground-mounted systems, agri-PV, rooftop installations, battery storage.

Private solar power systems
You make the investment, and we’ll build a high-quality, self-sufficient PV power system for your business based on a customized plan. Maximum control, long-term savings, full ownership rights.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TAX BENEFITS
Many of our investors take advantage of tax instruments such as the investment deduction (IAB) under Section 7g(1) of the German Income Tax Act (EStG)—up to 50% of the investment costs, with a maximum of €200,000 deductible in advance—as well as the special depreciation under Section 7g(5) of the EStG (40% of the reduced tax base). Combined, up to 77.5% of the acquisition costs are tax-deductible over two fiscal years—27.5% in the year of investment itself, because the IAB is already deducted in the year prior to the acquisition. This figure applies to acquisitions made in January; if the system is put into operation in October, the percentage drops to approximately 71.9%. The Helm Group consists of two independent companies: mediplan Helm e.K. (site acquisition, project planning, and contract management) and Logic Glas, with its brands Logic Energy, Logic Sky, Logic Tec, and Logic Light ( construction and technical implementation). We offer comprehensive solutions for photovoltaic systems—from site selection to long-term operation.

e.K. stands for "registered merchant." The owner is personally and fully liable for all obligations. This means maximum accountability and security for our partners and investors—unlike a GmbH, which has limited liability.

For Investors

Investors take ownership of one or more inverters in a PV system and receive the profits/revenue generated by those inverters. The term is 20 years, with an option to extend it to up to 40 years. It is also possible to purchase entire systems.

The minimum investment is €100,000.

Inverters convert the generated direct current into grid-compatible alternating current. Each inverter is responsible for a specific part of the system. Through the inverter yield sharing system, you receive transparent, traceable yield data from "your" system unit.

Our group actively handles site acquisition —this is one of our unique selling points. You don’t have to worry about finding land yourself. mediplan Helm systematically searches for suitable sites and takes care of all the necessary permits.

Yes! Many industrial roofs are only structurally sound in certain areas (above the supports). We have developed our own roof bridging system that distributes the load across the load-bearing areas. We can often make roofs usable that other providers turn down.
For farmers

Agri-PV combines agriculture and solar power generation on the same land. The solar panels are mounted off the ground, allowing for continued crop cultivation or livestock farming beneath them. They achieve 160% land efficiency: income from agriculture + solar.

Yes! With agri-PV, the land remains fully usable for crop farming, grassland, or grazing. With ground-mounted systems, you can lease the land and receive lease income while the land is ecologically enhanced (flower strips, biodiversity).

After 20 years (with an optional extension), the facility will either be dismantled and the site restored to its original condition, or you may extend the lease. The obligation to dismantle the facility is contractually stipulated and financially secured.
Technical Questions

Modern PV modules have a service life of 30 to 40 years. Manufacturers typically offer a performance warranty of 25 to 30 years, guaranteeing at least 80 to 85% of the initial output.

Inverters convert direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). They have a service life of 10–15 years andare replaced as needed (the costs are factored into the operating plan).

Yes, PV systems generate electricity even when the sky is cloudy—just not as much as they do in direct sunlight. The systems are designed to produce long-term average yields, not to maximize output on a single day.

Solar power systems are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions (snow loads, wind loads) and are insured accordingly. Snow usually slides off on its own or melts due to the heat generated by the panels.
